Kurt R. Peters, M.D., FACAAI

About Kurt R. Peters

Dr. Peters graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma, where his undergraduate research focused on cancer immunology. Following earning his doctorate of medicine, also from Oral Roberts University, he completed his internship and residency at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa, in the department of pediatrics. He completed a fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Peters joined Allergy & ENT Associates in 1990 and is recurrently certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Peters is a frequent lecturer on allergy and asthma topics both locally and nationally. He has also served on the governing boards of the Greater Houston and Texas Allergy Societies as well as the Southern Medical Association. He volunteers as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at UT Houston School of Medicine where he assists in training young physicians.
Since Dr. Peters and his children suffer from allergic rhinitis and asthma, one of his greatest strengths as a physician is his ability to see the clinical picture from the patient’s point of view, and to fashion practical therapies in an empathetic perspective.
