Dr. Johnny P. Mai is dedicated to providing high-quality ENT care to patients of all ages, including children. As a native Houstonian, he takes great pride in serving his community with expertise in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the ear, nose and throat. With advanced training in laryngology, Dr. Mai specializes in the treatment of complex breathing, swallowing and voice disorders, including care for professional singers.

Dr. Mai was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society during medical school, recognizing his outstanding academic achievement, leadership and dedication to patient care. He then pursued specialized training in voice, airway and swallowing disorders as a Laryngology Fellow at the University of Wisconsin, where he also served as a staff physician, gaining extensive expertise in treating complex conditions affecting speech and breathing.
Outside of work, Dr. Mai enjoys cooking and exploring Houston’s diverse restaurant scene, as well as spending quality time with his friends and family.
